Quick how-tos for FEEL in the flok app

Updated over 10 months ago

What can I do in Feel?

  • Record your moods: choose one or more emojis to indicate how you’re feeling in the moment. This log will help you understand how your mood changes over time

  • Record symptoms: recording things like headaches, stomachaches, and anxiety in the moment prepares you to share with your clinicians how you’ve felt since they last saw you

  • Add medicines, lab results, and new diagnoses to your flok app health record

  • Record general notes on how you’re feeling or questions you have for your clinicians

How do I track a mood?

From the Today screen, tap Mood Check and select one or more emojis on the screen that depict how you’re feeling. Each tap will highlight that mood, and you can then tap Log Moods. You can also select Feel from the bottom toolbar and tap the Log Moods for {user} prompt. If you can’t find a mood that matches how you’re feeling, tap Can’t find a mood? from the bottom of the screen and file a missing item ticket with flok App Support. Moods are logged in real time, so you’re encouraged to do this throughout the day to get the most accurate history of how you’re feeling.

How do I track a symptom?

To track a symptom, tap Feel from the bottom toolbar. From the Feel screen, select the Got Symptoms? prompt. Use the search bar to find your symptom. Once a symptom is selected, a pop-up screen allows you to adjust the date and time of the symptom and include any notes. Tap Save to log the symptom. If you can’t find the symptom you’re looking for, select Can’t find a symptom? from the bottom of the screen and file a missing item ticket with flok App Support.

You will be prompted to enter the type of test, its value and unit, the date and time of the test, and notes regarding fasting. Tap Save to log the lab result.

How do I track a medication?

To log a medication, select Feel from the bottom toolbar and tap the box that says Add medications, diagnoses, and lab results. A screen will pop up with the option to Manage Medications. You will be prompted to enter the medication in a search bar. Once selected, you can provide the amount, unit, and frequency of the medication, along with its start date. Tap Save to record the medication in your profile.

How do I record a note?

You can select a date and type a note about the user’s health, medications, diet, mood, or anything you want to include in the health log. Tap Save once you have finished the note.

Can I add a mood or a symptom that’s missing?

Yes, to inform us use the link found at the bottom of the section "Can't find _(mood, lab, etc.)__?" to fill out a short form right there in the app and let us know!

We'll review and add update as frequently as possible.

Why should I add medications or diagnoses to the flok app?

The flok app is designed to help you build an accurate and comprehensive profile of your health. By adding your medications and other health diagnoses, we can better understand how your metabolic condition, diet, and lifestyle interact with your overall health. If you choose to share your data with flok’s research platform, it will also help flok build a natural history of our conditions, and support research for new treatments.
